NFL Rookie Contracts – Not What We Expected

The rookie wage scale built into the CBA allows us to have a pretty good idea of what each rookie contract will be worth.  We were all working under the thought that signing bonus money amounts would be frozen for the 2015 season; being the same amount as provided in the 2014 season.  The #1 overall draft selection immediately signed his contract; and once the numbers were released we realized that the signing bonus money was not frozen.  It appears contract values will raise approximately 12-14% for the 2015 season.

Given this new information we will get the new contracts updated as they are signed for the rookie class.  For the time being the salary cap pages for the drafted player will just list the minimum salaries.  Once available I will update each page accordingly.
